The Snake

Check it out its me and a snake at the temple of pythons in Ouidah, this was a very long time ago in training at least 4 months ago. Pythons in voodoo are protectors, and at the temple of pythons there is a house just for the snakes and they open it up at night and the snakes wander throughout Ouidah, and people have to return them each day.
This picture is also really cool because my family has a game. My brother when we were down in Disney world, he was like 13 and I 10 perhaps, we were able to choose one thing that we wanted to take home I cant remember what I choose but Jason found this rubber snake, that really did look like a snake. The first week we had it, we were still in Florida and he layed it out in the driveway for our grandfather to find and well it got run over so now it has a slight dent. Recently in the past few years we've been going around the house and well the snake was located and brought out. Jason then started to hide the snake on everyone in the family as a joke, well the joke has been going for a few years now, the snake has traveled around Vermont, to Maine when I went to college, to Canada hidden in Jasons luggage, to Mexico in moms luggage, it was my christmas gift last year, and my moms this year, it has also been hidden in clothing, kitchen drawers, and under pillows. I talked to my mom and she considered sending me the snake but decided not to waste money on the postage. Thought you guys would enjoy this. Tomorow its back to post.

Loved the funny family story. That's a nice tradition.
Ask Carly to tell you the story about the time I FREAKED OUT when we were walking back from the neighbors at dusk and I became convinced that a snake was attacking me in the grass (it was really a foot high flag in the lawn marking a gas line....).
I was screaming like a little girl.......
Best, Mark Loehrke (Carly's dad)
