Need Your Help

Hey everyone who reads my blog. I need your help. Pronto. Im in the process of planning a girls camp. Girls here have to deal with so much stress, they cook and clean in their house they often times stop going to school because parents cant pay the fees, and more often than what I like to think about teachers of the girls who do attend secondary school sleep with the girls and hang their grades over their heads. Also parents encourage girls to date teachers as a teacher is considered a good catch for a girl, a good potential husband. Many a girl has become pregnant from this happening.Being someone who has had all the opportunties in the world,has always been told to be an independent person and told to foster my intelligence rather than my gender, it makes me sick to think about the girls who cant go to school or cant get the grades the deserve unless they sleep with their professors. In order to encourage girls to stay in school and build self esteem which comes in handy to standing up to their teachers the volunteers in the Donga region have planned a camp for girls, celebrating their worthwhile role in society now and in the future. We need your help funding this project. The communities have donated 28 percent of the budget but the rest we are hoping to raise by the end of the month.
