Yes thats right Oose had her kittens. There are three little balls of fur in my house right now. Ive named them, Milo, Scrapper, and Rah, after my friend Sarah M. I can fit all three in one hand. They are tiny, but then again Oose is a petite cat. Shes very patient with me Ive held them all but I definately have been giving Oose space to be with her kittens. Shes a very attentive mother. She comes to snuggle with me in my bed but she always watches her babies. She doesnt go outside at night anymore because of her babies. Watching my cat with her babies is possibly the cutest thing Ive ever seen... ever.
So theres not much of a story that goes with the kittens but Im sure there will be some with time. I come home from Natitingou and I walk into my house and my cat doesnt come right to the door to greet me. Strange. I hear her in my room so I go to check it out suspecting thats what had happened. I notice my empty drum case is moving. Turns out it wasnt empty but Oose and her kittens were inside and she was nursing those little fur balls. They are so cute. Their little eyes arent open yet and they look like little rats actually, but they are really cute with those little ears and tails... Ok too much you all know kittens are cute. I was given congrats for becoming a memere, think grammy only in french, one of my friends from college becomes a mom, Trisha your baby boy is super cute too, I become a memere.

How exciting!! I'd have to ask my mom but their eyes stay closed for several weeks if I remember correctly! When Cleo had her second litter she tried to have them on my bed... I told her that was a no go! I'm soo glad you got the package! I'm impressed it made it before your birthday!
Congratulations!!!!
You must be very proud.
I will send some special protective thoughts your way. Life can't be easy for kittens in Benin.
We will toast to Oose tonight!!!
Best, Mark Loehrke (Carly's dad)
I am so excited for you and Oose. Your days will be filled with fun. 2 weeks for the eyes to open and then more fun. So so cute! Good luck, I know that life is hard for critters, even loved ones.
