So a couple days ago I was biking and I zone out sometimes. I came to where the road intersected with another and there are no other cars, just a duck in the road about 3 feet to my left moving toward me, but we wont collide because the duck isnt moving very fast. so I continue on to cross the road. Then all of a sudden I see out of the corner of my eye the duck take off and fly straight for my head! The duck smacked into my helmet and the force of the impact shifted my helmet and the duck continued to go over my head and landed on the other side of my bike. At this point I was laughing so hard I couldnt continue on my bike the duck looked a little confused turned around to face me, quacked at me and turned around and continue to waddle at its normal slow duck pace.
This might have been the single funniest thing that has happened to me in Benin, being hit in the head by a low flying duck while riding my bike. This just gives me another reason to wear my helmet, to ward off duck attacks! Im pretty sure I cant top that story so there you have it.
