First half done!
so the first half of the training, hopefully the more obnoxious half is done and out of the way. how much i really absorbed is still up for debate but i was present at least, maybe not mentally but physically. tomorow is sunday and we all need a break weve been training starting at 8;30 and getting out at 6;30 everyday its really straining and we dont get enough time for lunch to really take a long repo, aka break. culturally everyone here takes 3 hours for lunch this is not lazy but pretty necessary, its the time of the day thats the hottest and people feel tired after eating big meals so it really is needed for enough time to take a nap and destress. i realize im going to have some huge culture shock coming back to the states and being like, hey i only get an hour! thats not enough time to take a nap! but cest la vie nest pas? for all you non franglais speakers out there thats life is it not? so there you have it. this is once again a quick update as i dont want to spend a whole lot of money on internet in a place thats not post. enjoy the snow for me!

Way to be present physically!!!!
The 3 hour repo is a great idea and calls into question whether or not America REALLY is "advanced".
Thanks for the entry and I'll try to enjoy the freezing rain as well as the snow.
Best, Mark Loehrke (Carly's dad)
