Things are a Little Crazy

More pictures of Mexico that have nothing to do with the rest of this post! These pictures were taken by these people who walked around the resort with animals and took pictures. Here is a picture of Jason with the lizard, and my parents with the tuci bird.

I'm living and breathing preparing to leave for Benin. I'm trying to pack up my room, I'll pick something up and ask myself 'am I going to want this in two years' the technique works real well for getting rid of junk. Makes me sad to think that the things I really am going to want will be in boxes for at least two years.

I've also been working very hard to relearn french and get through the 40 hours of lessons. It's very difficult to focus for more than hour. I get up and do other things and then do another hour. I think it's paying off, when I do more than 5 hours a day I can't really focus anymore. I wish that I had an extra week now before I left for Benin. I wouldn't need anything more than a week, just one extra would make everything run more smoothly. I'm sure a lot of other future PCV are feeling the same pressure. I've added more things to my packing list, I think I'm going to get a solar battery charger, or solio, not too sure which but I will look into it. A solio would be neat to charge up my IPod but, what am I going to use more of batteries or IPod?? Au revoir!
