College is DONE

I am finally done with school. 100% totally done, got my fake diploma at the ceremony and walked across the stage, shook hands with people I didn't know at all, turned the tassel and then I was done. I graduated the day before mothers day, I've been telling my mother that her mothers day gift is seeing her youngest child graduate. The ceremony was long, boring, and uncomfortable. I sat next to some of my friends who were also graduating in the environmental department, Jeff and Kelsey and we talked about stupid shit the entire time, laughed and we were given some disapproving stares but what were they going to do take away our fake diplomas? The real ones are in the mail. But as a wrap-up senior week was lots of fun and I won't go into detail because I know that my extended family and former professors might read this.

Leaving school was bitter sweet. I was definitely ready to be done, but not ready to say goodbye to good friends along the way. There's a quote about college friends becoming a family, and it's true, I really felt like I had a big family at school. I love you all. Here are some of my favorite memories of everyone, in no particular order.

Sarah M- Thai iced teas and red curry

Sarah L- that one time you greeted me at your door while I was on duty when everyone, including yourself was playing 'dominos'

Kristyn- Shadow puppet theatre

Morgan- Chachos!

Trisha- Babies

Emmy- Watching you dance

Matt- I got my vans on but they look like sneakers

Dan- Neck beard

Gary- There's a party in my pants.. and the only rule is no pants

Heather- Labie

Trisha- Watching you run after the Papa Johns guy

Tiffany- Watching you, dressed up as the Christmas poo get hit on by peter pan

Rachel- Chinese on the UNE bus

Tower- Having Hills Beach dinners

I will miss you all! and there are soooo many more memories but these are the ones that stuck out in my mind right this second. Love you and keep in touch I expect lots and lots of letters and packages. I in turn will send only letters because I'm quite poor.

So now I have to get ready for my trip to Cancun! Au revoir!
